HERAKLION, CRETE
Hello, i would like to inform you about our participation to the decentralized days of action for squats and autonomous spaces. We are two squats (Evagelismos and Aytodiaxeirizomeni Estia) in Heraklion,Crete Greece and we are organizing together the day (11 of April) of action about squats. Also, the Aytodiaxeirizomeni Estia Squat is organising at 11-12-13 of April its annual event with live music,discussions and other events. So we merged these two events and there will be three days full of actions and events. The 11th of April will start with a bicycle ride around the city and after we will organise an open discussion to the center with a video projection at the end about squats in greece and the day will continue with a party.
Our webpage is a-estia.tk but it is under development and without an english version yet(we ar working to it now). Our squat is a building used in past as residence for the students of the techonoligal educational insitute of Crete. We are about 50 people living here for 3 years. Our squat is not only for living but we try to organise political actions around the city.
Evagelismos is a 5 years squat hosted on an old hospital to the center of Heraklion It has more active political action from the start. we will communicate with you again very soon with more information and we will upload the poster of the action.
