Сквотирование в Москве в 2005-2007 гг.
Осенью 2005 г. мы носились с идеей сделать в Москве сквот. Облазили какое-то количество зданий и тут от одного из наших знакомых узнали про затопленное бомбоубежище в одном из московских парков. Сам бункер и то место, где он располагался – малолюдный район не так далеко от метро и довольно близко к центру города – оказались такими привлекательными, что мы решили откачать всю воду. Для этого один из нас, надев гидроштаны, залез внутрь и, стоя по грудь в воде, подключил насос к проводам с электричеством, торчащим из потолка. Процесс пошел, и месяца за полтора большая часть воды была выкачана, остался слой сантиметров 20. Но тут ударил мороз, и на шланге, через который откачивалась вода образовалась ледяная пробка – насос сгорел. Чтобы продолжить пришлось ждать весны...
За то время, пока стояли морозы из канализации продолжала поступать вода, и к весне бомбоубежище снова было полно воды. Это было жесточайшим обломом, но мы не отступили и снова принялись за откачку воды.
К концу весны бункер был полностью осушен (выяснилось, что причиной затопления была неисправная канализация, починить нам ее так и не удалось, поэтому мы просто ее ликвидировали), и мы принялись за его обустройство. Заделали течь из канализации, посрезали ржавые трубы, купили теплопушку для просушки и обогрева помещения. Но все же в бункере было слишком сыро и прохладно, а вытяжка была очень плохая. Поэтому жить там постоянно никто не спешил. Хотя пару человек, которым особо негде было жить, прожили там по нескольку недель.
Бомбоубежище состояло из трех больших помещений площадью около 40 кв.м. Но потолки были низкими. Было два входа. Из коммуникаций осталось только электричество. Средняя температура составляла около +4 градусов. Поэтому мы усиленно натаскивали обогреватели, с помощью которых довели ее до +15. Была повышенная влажность – вплоть до 90%.
Время на сквоте проходило в постоянных тусовках и работах по его обустройству. Иногда там проводились анархистские собрания, делались баннеры для уличных акций. Прошло 3 концерта – 2 хардкор и 1 хип-хоп.
Так прошел весь год, и новый 2007 г. мы встретили в нашем бункере. Проблемы начались сразу после нового года, когда сквот (по вине одного из наших друзей) накрыли менты. Они получили ключи, и на следующий день на двери в бункер весел их замок. Когда мы срезали этот замок и вновь попали в сквот, мы увидели, что он полностью разграблен – пропали теплопушка, холодильник, компьютер, электроинструменты... Наверное, это и было концом сквота. Один из концертов прошел уже после разграбления, но былого энтузиазма у сквоттеров уже не было. После этого еще несколько раз то ли менты, то ли рабочие-нелегалы, которые жили поблизости в заброшенном детском саду и платили ментам взятки, с которыми у нас сложились не особо дружеские отношения, спиливали наши навесные замки и вешали свои, а кто-то из нас делал то же самое (последний раз – осенью 2007 г.), но никакой особой активности в этом помещении уже не было.
Несмотря на то, что сейчас сквота нет, он многое дал нам. Мы научились каким-то практическим вещам друг у друга (собирать розетки, пользоваться электроинструментом и т.д.), познакомились и сдружились с новыми людьми, которые принимали участие в создании сквота, научились работать в команде, а главное, мы убедились, что все-таки и в Москве реально сделать сквот, если захотеть.

Squatting in Moscow, 2005-2007
In autumn of 2005 we were crazy about the idea to create a squat in Moscow. We searched through quite a number of buildings, and then one of our acquaintances told us about flooded bombshelter in one of Moscow parks. The shelter and the place it was situated in (not overpopulated district close to subway station and to the city center) hapeened to be so attractive, that we decided to pump out the water. In order to do this, one of us dressed in hydropants, submerged breast-deep in the water and plugged the pump to electric cables protruding from the ceiling. It worked and in one month and a half most of the water was pumped out with only 20 cm layer left. But then frost came and ice gridlock hit the pumping hose. The pump died. We had to wait for spring...
While it was cold, water didn't stop to come from sewer and by spring the shelter was flooded again. It was a blow for us, but we didn't retreat and started pumping water again.
By the end of spring the shelter was completely drained. The root of flooding was broken sewerage, we didn't manage to fix it and just destroyed it. So we started comforting ourselves. We stopped leakage from sewer, cut off rusty pipes, bought thermocannon to drain and warm the room. But it still was too damp and cold there and drawing was very ineffective. That's why nobody tried to inhabit the squat. Though one or two homeless persons lived there for several weeks.
The bombshelter consisted of three large rooms with total square about 40 m2. But the ceilings were low. Two entrances. Communal services included electricity only. The average temperature was near +4C. That's why we continued bringing various heaters and improved it to be +15C. Humidity was up to 90%.
We spent time communicating and making our squat more comfortable. Sometimes anarchist meetings were held there, banners for street actions were being made as well. We managed to organize 3 gigs, 2 of them hardcore and 1 hip-hop.
That's how we spent the year. We celebrated New Year 2007 in our shelter. Troubles came after the celebration when cops ran on the squat (one of our friends was to blame). They got keys and the next day the door to the shelter was locked. Wher we cut the lock and got into the squat, we saw that it was completely put to the sack. Thermocannon, fridge, computer, tools just vanished... It seems to be the end of the squat. One of the gigs was organized after the sack, but the squatters were not so enthusiastic any more. After that someone used to continuously cut our locks and put theirs on the door. May be they were cops, may be - illegal workers who lived in deserted kindergarten not far away (they bribed cops and we conflicted with them). Some of us did the same (last time it was in the autumn 2007), but activity in this place stopped.
Though we do not have the squat now, it gave us a lot. We mutually acquired some practical skills (like assembling sockets, using electrical appliances, etc), got acquainted with new people who took part in creating the squat, learnt how to work in team. And what is most important, we are sure now that it's possible to create squat even in Moscow. You only must really want it.

Okupando en Moscú, 2005-2007
En otoño de 2005 estábamos locxs por abrir una okupa en Moscú. Buscamos entre un buen número de edificios, hasta que un día un conocido nos habló de un búnker inundado en uno de los parques de Moscú. El refugio y el lugar en el que se encontraba (barrio no sobre-poblado cerca de una parada de metro y del centro de la ciudad) resultó ser tan atractivo, que decidimos bombear el agua. Para esto, unx de nosotrxs se vistió de neopreno, se sumergió con el agua hasta el pecho, y enchufó la bomba a unos cables eléctricos que sobresalían del techo. Funcionó y en un mes y medio casi todo el agua había sido bombeada, quedando sólo una capa de unos 20 cm. Pero luego vinieron las heladas y el hielo rompió la manguera de bombeo. La bomba murió. Teníamos que esperar hasta la primavera…
Mientras hacía frío, no paraba de salir agua desde un desagüe, y para la primavera el búnker ya estaba inundado de nuevo. Fue un golpe bajo para nosotrxs, pero no nos rendimos y comenzamos a bombear de nuevo el agua.
Al final de la primavera, el refugio ya estaba drenado de nuevo. La fuente de la inundación era un desagüe roto; como no conseguimos arreglarlo, lo destruimos. Nos empezamos a animar otra vez. Paramos la fuga del desagüe, cortamos las tuberías oxidadas, compramos un cañón de aire caliente para secar y calentar el espacio. Pero seguía haciendo demasiada humedad y frío ahí dentro, y dibujar era muy ineficaz. Por eso nadie intentó vivir en la okupa. Aunque una o dos personas sin techo vivieron ahí durante unas semanas.
El refugio consistía en tres habitaciones grandes con un total de 40 m2. Pero el techo era muy bajo. Dos entradas. Como servicios públicos solo tenía electricidad. La temperatura media era de unos +4ºC. Por eso seguimos trayendo radiadores eléctricos y alcanzamos los +15ºC. La humedad llegaba al 90%.
Pasamos tiempo comunicando y haciendo de nuestra okupa un lugar más cómodo. Algunas reuniones anarquistas tuvieron lugar ahí, y también se hicieron pancartas para algunas acciones en la calle. Conseguimos organizar tres conciertos, 2 de hardcore y 1 de hip hop.
Así fue cómo pasamos el año. Celebramos la Nochevieja de 2007 en nuestro refugio. Los problemas llegaron después de la celebración cuando la policía llegó a la okupa (por culpa de uno de nuestrxs amigxs). Consiguieron las llaves, y al día siguiente la puerta del refugio estaba cerrada. Cuando cortamos el cerrojo y entramos en la okupa, vimos que había sido saqueada. El cañón de aire caliente, el ordenador, la nevera, las herramientas habían desaparecido… Parecía ser el final de la okupa. Uno de los conciertos se organizó después del saqueo, pero lxs okupas ya no estaban tan entusiasmadxs. Después de este momento, alguien volvía siempre a cortar nuestro cerrojo y a poner el suyo en la puerta. A lo mejor era la madera, a lo mejor eran trabajadores ilegales que vivían en una guardería abandonada no muy lejos (sobornaron a la policía y nos peleamos con ellos). Algunxs de nosotrxs hicimos lo mismo (la última vez fue en el otoño de 2007), pero la actividad en este espacio terminó.
Aunque ya no tenemos la okupa, nos dio mucho. Adquirimos muchas habilidades prácticas (como conectar enchufes, utilizar herramientas eléctricas, etc.), conocimos a gente nueva que participó en la creación de la okupa, aprendimos a trabajar en equipo. Y lo que es más importante, ahora estamos segurxs de que es posible abrir una okupa en Moscú. Sólo tienes que quererlo de verdad.
