NO time to say goodbye!
As we all know the situation for so-called „law free“ spaces in Europe, our house is not an exception to this capitalist destruction.
Liebigstr.34/XB/Infoladen Daneben is a 17-year old houseproject, exsquat, still as autonomous as possible, no hierarchies and especially: no patriarchal structures! It`s a woman-lesbian-trans project, one of the last ones in whole europe… internationally known and important for the feminist-scene…
The situation looks as follows: The caretaking company quitted the contracts till end of october. They are working together with a speculant named Gijora Padovicz**, one of the biggest landlords of Friedrichshain (more than 200 houses in F`Hain, 3000 in Berlin) who is focusing on buying „rotten“ projects to gentrificate them into yuppiesuitable places.
The legal/halflegal situation is complicated (for more infos, you have to visit). Considering contractowners, we decided to propose Factor* a compromise: letting them in, IF they change the contracts, partly to make it possible to win the fight for one of the last woman houses in europe(!). We had to operate with this proposal, because in Berlin, as you probably know, its not possible anymore to fight the pure illegal way .. sadly... They agreed, for sure, to see the house on the 8. November BUT they added in their respond, that they expect us to „return the apartments“, which means to leave the house! On the 8th of November there were around hundred people gathering in front of LB34/XB/Daneben to show their solidarity. It worked out well: they pissed off after seeing the crowd of angry looking people from many different projects in Berlin. . .
But the story continues; or were gonna soon have a new quitting OR a lawsuit for eviction in our mailbox… Padovicz wont give up to get this house, if he`ll get it, were lost.

- Spread the news to your friends, houses, @feminist groups ... that they
can support us. LB34/XB/Infoladen needs your ideas, abilities, motivation..
- Write to FACTOR / Frau Andrea Tragsdorf (Manager) or/and to the
citycouncil of F´Hain, Herr Dr. Franz Schulz*** that they have to find a compromise for the House.
- Help us connecting with different media, f.e. reporters u know (to make
them write what we want), or if you know someone who`s writing, tell em to connect with us...
- Write mails to your friends to organize soliparties (cuz were gonna be
in fucking big financial troubles), banneractions on your houses or in front of FACTOR and so on.. .
