There have been two days against gentrification including short talks/inputs, street parade and neighbourhood street party..

UK
London: As part of the series of events taking place in various London autonomous spaces over the weekend of the 11th and 12th April, a squatters

Nottingham: The new squat, "The Old County Hall" has been occupied as part of the weekend of action for free culture and autonomous spaces
Birmingham: A temporary autonomous zone -a squatted warehouse - has been established in an old building, part of a gentrification plan.

In Nijmegen the old postal building on the station square was squatted and in Amsterdam an empty building on the terrain of the state museum used as the

GERMANY
Erfurt: (Thursday) Misleading leaflets about a street party confused the police and allowed 150 people to demonstrate in the city in front of the. Stopped by the police but continued
Oldenburg: (Saturday) Radio Ballet participating 60 people. In the commercial center of the city.
Bremen: (Saturday) 100 activists at 16.00 built up into the middle of the market place a living room including sofas and a table soccer.
Rostock: (Friday) Some people occupied the children's playground sitting on lawn chairs. Police checked participants' IDs and Radioballett
Berlin: (Friday) Pirate radio "squatted" 95.2 FM, broadcasting local information and international streams. - 30 people protested towards the home of the caretaker of the Rigaerstrasse 94 building, Olive Rohn, beautifying his house and garden. - spontaneous
Electro party around Nordbahnhof. (Saturday) 2pm Street Party in Rigaerstrasse & Liebigrasse, music, food and drinks, table soccer sofas etc. Police pushed the party out of the street at 8pm. - Spontaneous radical bike ride cycled around the Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg, blocking for some time 6 main junctions and distributing leaflets. -
Competition for throwing bottle lids as far as possible made a record for 29,5 meters.
Dortmund:(Saturday) spontaneous demo requesting the creation of free and autonomous spaces. "Dominique" anti-repression demo at the Freitreppen, with 200 people.

FRANCE
Dijon: (Friday) 80 ppl gathered in front of the Prefecture, blocked the road and filled the street with smokebombs, in solidarity with two activists, Ivan & Bruno, who are imprisoned awaiting a trial for“terrorism” after being caught with smokebombs.
(Saturday) temporary autonomous zone was set in the city centre at 2pm, with a free zone. Demonstration against the eviction of Mat-Noir at 3pm, involving
action about smoke-bombs and sabotaging ads. Demonstration ended with the re-squatting of previously evicted Toboggan.
ITALY
Milan: (Saturday) squatted an abandoned building in Milan in order to denounce the lack of space of aggregation and living space and about home prices.
Torino: Today on the pre-election-day to renew the national governament, a block of squatters, masked as politicians, brought 400 hundreds pounds of concrete wall and brix ruins of a former evected squat in the front of the entrance in the turin city hall.
SPAIN & CATALUNYA
Madrid: (Friday) Demonstration went through the University campus and symbolically occupied Facultad Okupada Autogestionada, which had been abandoned.
Demonstration continued afterwards 400 - 500 ppl paticipated at a demonstration to celebrate the first anniversary of the social center la Traba in Madrid. Demo led to a concert in the social center.
Barcelona: (Friday) banners with various slogans were dropped on 12 different buildings that have recently have been evicted and bricked up and/or demolished. (Saturday) Demonstration, graffity on evicted squats, and squatting of Ronda General Mitre, 9 which will be a new social centre called the Ateneo Mayo ‘37, (Sunday) Reclaim La collserola walk through the endangered green mountain around Barcelona. Reclaim the Streets parade and street party, location announced
by local pirate radio.
AUSTRIA
Vienna: (Friday) Demonstration with 300 ppl. After the demonstration a new wagenburg was squatted in Arsenalstrasse. (Saturday) "BimParty" (Party in a Tram) people brought snacks and drinks and travelled altogether, stopped by riot police but went on with a demo, which led them to the metro. UPDATE: House at address Spitalgasse 11 squatted. Estimated 150+ ppl present, free food, currently ongoing cinema and plena.
Graz: (Friday) squatted a house in annenstraße 3, near the centre. Workshops and party planned. Linz: A new squat named "Louise" opened with a party Innsbruck: some 150 people squatted a building and started a party. They demand more autonomous spaces.
FINLAND
In Helsinki around 150 people demonstrated today for free spaces, and headed to house squatted at sunday in Töölö district. Weekend will continue as
GhettoXperience -fest with workshops and gigs. In Turku a new house was squatted today, and also a festival going on for whole weekend. (Saturday) street partys in Tampere and Jyväskylä. 250 people's Demo in Tampere and party in the Central Market sq.
SWEDEN

Umeå: (Friday) Some 30 people squatted a big house in the center of the town, hung banners from the windows and stayed the rest of the day. At 23 it was decided to leave the house. NORWAY
Oslo: activists interrupted a christian anti-gay marriage demonstration with noise, dance and love. Reclaim the streets in front of the city hall, then moved
to an expensive lately constructed Opera-house. Party and concerts in the threatend squat Brakkebygrenda
ISRAEL
(Friday) Banner hanged on a massive bridges being constructed in the entrance to the city, saying “free space for free people!”. later that day, a street party took place inside a pedestrian tunnel in a park, joined by radical activists from Tel Aviv.
CZECH
Prague: A street party with masks, sound systems, some infos on evicted places and on previous squatting actions, attended by some 500 people. Went for a march and put two banners on empty buildings. Ropice 12th April - 1st public action in a new squat Viktorie, ended by police, all people left, no riot or violence. Concert, exhibitions, distro etc.
NEW ZEALAND
(Friday & Saturday) Street party outside and inside of the social center in 128 Abel Smith Street. Firebrigade set off one of the fires lit by the kids.
Speeches made about autonomous space and the indigenous Tuhoe Nation, raided the same day as the 128.
POLAND
Poznan: 19th April - Street Party in the Old Market Square with samba drummers, Food not Boms, fireshow, tallbike wars, video & multimedia presentation about squatting screening, speeches about the days of action adn the situation of Rozbrat squat.
